Marcell LaGrone has worked in the fitness and human services for over 10 years as a Psychosocial Rehabilitation Worker, youth counselor, and Gang/Drug/Alcohol Prevention Program Supervisor. He is pursuing his dream of incorporating his love for helping others into his other love of fitness. Marcell holds numerous certifications from a slew of fitness institutes including Boxing Fitness Instructor certification from the Boxing Fitness Institute, Group Fitness Instructor certification from Ace Fitness and Sports Psychology Coach certification through the National Exercise & Sports Trainers Association, and his Personal Training Certification from Action Fitness.
Marcell discovered his affinity for personal growth and progression during a successful football career, something that is almost genetic in the LaGrone household. Following in the footsteps of both his father and older brother, Marcell excelled as a cornerback at Lincoln High School, grabbing the attention of collegiate football programs across the nation. It was Idaho State who end up landing the then 6’1, 195-pound strong safety where Marcell made the Big Sky All-Conference team in 2004 after a strong sophomore season which included a 25 yard pick six, the first of his collegiate career.
After his college football career came to a close, Marcell chose to join his family in Reno, Nev. and pursue his passion for helping people better themselves. “I love people, I love progress and I love being able to help people reach their goals. There’s nothing like watch someone grow and progress right before your eyes, its amazing.” said LaGrone. Not only does Marcell get people to reach their fitness goals, but he understands that fitness ia about physical growth. “Working on yourself and reaching your goals is a therapeutic experience; you feel more confident and reach a peace of mind that can’t be achieved elsewhere. I love being able to help people reach that place.”

I’m Christin Gallagher , and I’m so honored to welcome you here. This yoga studio is not just a physical space—it’s a place of refuge, a sanctuary where healing begins and souls reconnect. It’s where movement becomes more than just physical—it becomes a way to heal, a way to express, and a way to find peace in a world that often feels overwhelming.
My journey has been one of deep pain, transformation, and discovery. I grew up with the weight of both physical and emotional abuse, wounds that ran deep and stayed with me for years. The scars left behind shaped the way I moved through life, until I began to understand that healing isn’t a destination—it’s a process. At 16, I became a teen mom, and soon after, life presented me with more challenges, including multiple failed marriages. After each marriage ended, I realized that my unresolved trauma was influencing my choices, causing me to continue down unhealthy paths and repeat cycles of pain.
But healing is possible.
It was through movement that I first felt the possibility of transformation. Fitness became my salvation, helping me find my strength, my voice, and the courage to step into the light. I’ve been on this journey for over 14 years, and while I’m still walking it, I now know that each step I take—no matter how small—leads me closer to wholeness. That is what I want to offer to you here: a place to take those steps, to breathe, and to begin the journey toward healing, just as I am.
What I’ve come to understand is that my children have been some of my greatest teachers in this process. Each of them has shown me something unique about myself and the world around me.
My daughter, who I had at 16, taught me how to grow up quickly. She taught me what it means to be resilient, how to fight for your future, and how to love in ways I never thought possible. Her presence in my life was a reminder that, even in the hardest moments, we have the capacity to rise, to learn, and to move forward.
My middle son taught me how to turn obstacles into opportunities. He’s shown me that there is no setback that cannot be overcome if we approach it with creativity, patience, and a deep belief in ourselves. With him, I learned to keep moving forward, no matter how difficult life becomes.
And my youngest son, diagnosed with autism, has shown me the true meaning of unconditional love. His journey has been unique and has opened my eyes to the challenges many in the autism community face. My sons wisdom, resilience, and different ways of seeing the world is a gifts that has deepened my compassion and broadened my perspective in ways I would have never recognized without him my life. My sons presence has fueled my desire to create spaces where everyone can feel truly seen, understood, and supported.
This space is not just for one group of people; it is for anyone who feels the call to heal. Yes, we serve the autism community, a community that I deeply understand and hold close to my heart. But this studio is not just for those with autism—it is for anyone who is struggling, anyone who feels broken, anyone who needs a safe, nurturing environment to heal.
The truth is, we are all on our own unique healing journeys, shaped by our pasts, our pain, and our dreams. Sometimes, it’s hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel. It’s easy to feel small, overwhelmed, and unsure of how one person can make a difference. But I believe that by creating a space where healing is possible—where love and acceptance are at the core—we can begin to transform not just our own lives, but the world around us.
I am just one human, navigating this vast universe, asking the question: What is my purpose? What is my part in making this world better? And every day, I’m convinced that this—creating a safe, inclusive, and healing space—is the answer to that question. This is my part in making the world a better place, one small but powerful step at a time.
In this studio, you will find more than just yoga—you will find acceptance, support, and community. This is a space where we don’t just practice poses; we practice compassion. We create bonds that transcend differences and embrace every unique experience. Whether you’re a parent seeking support, a person facing trauma, or someone with a story to share, you will be met with open arms, understanding, and respect.
Healing is not linear—it’s a beautiful, messy, courageous journey. And no matter where you are on that path, you are welcome here. No one is turned away. Whether you’re navigating grief, trauma, addiction, or simply need a place to reconnect with yourself, I am here to walk alongside you. Together, we can break down the walls of isolation, dismantle the shame we carry, and create a space where we can all just be—whole, imperfect, and healing.
Yoga should never be a privilege. It should be a tool for healing. That’s why I’ve made it my mission to ensure this space is accessible to everyone—no matter their background, financial situation, or challenges. This studio is about coming back to the core of yoga: mindfulness, compassion, and connection. It’s about breaking cycles of pain and creating new paths toward healing, together.
At Indy Sol studio you’ll find more than a class. You’ll find a community. A place where you can show up as you are, take a deep breath, and feel safe enough to begin again. We respect all paths, all stories, and all people. It doesn’t matter where you’ve been or what you’ve been through—what matters is that you’re here now, and that is something to celebrate.
Mello is here to count your reps, race you down the turf, add some extra weight to your sled push, assist when some love is needed, or to start an intense soccer game! Mello is a key part to our ReDirect Family and knows every person who enters by the smell of their shoes!
ReDirect Athletics and ReDirect Youth Outreach & Boxing was founded in June 2018 by Marcell & Tisha LaGrone. Their goal was to make the gym a safe/ positive place for everyone, youth or adult, who sets foot inside its walls. A huge piece of that was incorporating their own children, Jayden, Jordyn, & Nya, into the organization and truly starting the ReDirect Family!
The LaGrone Family hopes that they are able to impact each life that comes in contact with their programs and ReDirect Family.
